GENESIS Media Collection Clips 1974 DVD Format: NTSC Source: Professional-Shot (Multi-Camera) Video Quality: Rating: 7.0 Menus: Yes Chapter Selection: Yes February 12, 1974 - Melody TV Special - 30 minutes The source for this is a true 3rd generation tape and had a timecode bar at the bottom. This was removed to leave a less-distracting blur box. Includes: I Know What I Like & Supper's Ready March 21, 1974 - Santa Monica, CA 8mm - 25 minutes The source for this is a very low generation tape thanks to Maurizio. As with most 8mm films, the video is dark but includes live audio which is very uncommon for 8mm films. The audio was also cleaned up a bit and some of the more 'painful' frequencies (often present in audience recordings) were reduced. Includes: parts of Dancing out with the Moonlit Knight, The Cinema Show, I Know What I Like, Firth of Fifth, The Musical Box, & Supper's Ready April 20 & 21, 1974 - Montreal, Canada 16mm - 45 Minutes The source for this is a very low generation tape (2nd?) with excellent video quality and is complete including the opening notes. The only downside for this show is that it was filmed silent and sound was dubbed in later. Includes: parts of Watcher of the Skies, Dancing out with the Moonlit Knight, The Cinema Show, I Know What I Like, Firth of Fifth, The Musical Box, The Battle of Epping Forest, & Supper's Ready May 6, 1974 Academy of Music 8mm 8 Minutes This silent film is very low generation, excellent quality for 8mm, and includes the only known footage of Gabriel flying. Live music was added to make it more enjoyable. |
